Serengeti Wildebeest Migration is the world most existed largest and longest animal natural international movement where by almost 3 millions of wildebeests and half a million of zebra mixed with Thompson Gazelle moving to and from Masai Mara in Kenya from Serengeti plain in Tanzania seeking only for two things; water and fresh food/pasture. The migration start in January at Ndutu Area during calving season continue through the whole year
Important Events:
- In December through March every year the Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area attract huge numbers of wildebeest as they graze on short rain-ripened grass during the calving season at Ndutu
- In July and August wildebeest cross Masai Mara river in their way to Masai Mara Reserve. Hungary crocodile try to catch as many wildebeest as possible for a feast and the whole action become very confusing. In November the same event occurs while the migration is back to the Serengeti Plain
